Fan favourite character Tokyo had just sacrificed her life for the team when we left off in the jaw-dropping Money Heist season five, part one ending, but a behind-the-scenes teaser has confirmed that rsula Corberó will return to the role via a flashback cameo (as well as continuing as the show’s narrator, as we heard in the trailer).

The mastermind behind the heist The Professor, played by Lvaro Morte, is now undoubtedly the main character, having formed an uneasy partnership with Alicia Sierra, a disgraced police investigator (Najwa Nimri).

It’s unclear whether the two will find common ground or if Sierra will hand him over to the cops despite his essential assistance in the delivery of her child.

Longtime squad members Rio (Miguel Herrán), Denver (Jaime Lorente), Stockholm (Esther Acebo), and Helsinki (Darko Peric), who is gravely injured after his legs were crushed in an explosion, are also trapped in the robbery.

We’ll also learn what happened to the team’s newest members, Manila (Belén Cuesta), Rodrigo de la Serna (Palermo), and Bogotá (Hovik Keuchkerian), the latter of whom is still seeking vengeance for the loss of his love, Nairobi.

He may have missed his chance as Tokyo’s final grenade attack killed insane security chief Ganda (Manuel Poga), although this has yet to be proven.

Fans are eagerly awaiting word on whether the much-despised Arturo Román (Enrique Arce) will make it through the final season alive, with Colonel Tamayo recently stating that his condition is “serious” (Fernando Cayo).

Arce recently told RadioTimes.com that he was “disappointed” with the dark turn his character took in Money Heist season four and “pleading” with the show’s executives to reconsider.

Pedro Alonso and Patrick Criado are expected to reprise their roles as on-screen father-and-son Berlin and Rafael, whose storey has been largely disconnected from the main plot.

Given that the character’s tale looks to be done, it’s uncertain whether Sky Rojo star Miguel ngel Silvestre will return in part two as René, the initial love of Tokyo.Cayo).

Money Heist creator Alex Pina recently revealed that the powers-that-be originally requested that Berlin be written out entirely, which is hilarious given how important the character has become to the show’s storey.

“I had no intention of removing him out of the series,” he told Hindustan Times. ‘This character doesn’t suit with the times,’ someone said.

‘You should remove him from the series.’

Of course, following his death in season two, Berlin reappeared in flashbacks, which Pina is overjoyed about.

“[He is] a misogynist, narcissist, and psychopath in many respects,” the author continued. But, in the series, we could have a character like that, and the audience could choose whose side they support, right?”

José Manuel Seda was introduced as the “cold and brutal” Sagasta, Commander of the Spanish Army’s Special Forces, in Money Heist season five, although his unit has suffered serious injuries since taking on The Professor’s gang.

In addition to the actors, three directors have been confirmed for Season 5: Jess Colmenar, Koldo Serra, and Lex Rodrigo.

Season five part one (streaming now) is made up of five episodes, with the final five episodes arriving before the end of the year, with a release date set for Friday, December 3rd.

The fifth season of Money Heist follows the storey of a bank robbery.

We were promised a “loaded” second half of Season 5 in a recent teaser featuring some behind-the-scenes action from the programme, with “extreme tension” woven throughout, in a recent teaser showcasing some behind-the-scenes action from the show.

“I’ll do other things,” Darko Peri, who plays Helsinki, said. “But something like this happens once in a lifetime.”

“We know it’s not going to let down the viewers of the programme,” said Rodrigo De la Serna, who plays Palermo. We’re confident they’ll enjoy it. “What’s coming is a force to be reckoned with.”

“People will not be able to go to bed after seeing any of these programmes,” Mort (The Professor) said.

So, what will take place? The fairly gloomy plot synopsis for season five part two has been posted by Netflix.

“Tokyo (rsula Corberó) is no longer alive. The enemy is still lurking at the Bank of Spain, wounded but still deadly. Faced with their toughest task yet, the group devises a daring scheme to get the gold out without anyone knowing. To make matters worse, the Professor makes his greatest blunder.”

To refresh your memory, season four began with one of the gang members, Nairobi (Alba Flores), fighting for her life inside the bank, while The Professor was on the run, attempting to cope with the news that his love, ex-police officer Lisbon, had been killed by the cops.

The gang appeared to be in an impossible predicament, but after discovering that Lisbon was still alive and conducting a daring rescue, they were able to pull themselves back from the brink. Against all chances, they were able to deposit her in the Bank of Spain, where she would join the rest of her stealing comrades, but the news wasn’t all positive.

Inspector Alicia Sierra tracked out The Professor’s lair and held him at gunpoint, while the team suffered a heartbreaking loss earlier in the season with the death of Nairobi, which will loom large in the next episodes.

Money Heist executive producer Jess Colmenar explained to Entertainment Weekly how this development will influence the show’s remaining episodes, uniting the frail gang of robbers in their final battle.

“In a way, Nairobi symbolised the heart of the group, and [she] would have had a hard time fitting in this last season because this is a season of direct conflict,” he said. “However, her legacy will inspire the other characters.”

Season 5 of Money Heist is the final season, but Netflix has confirmed a spin-off series featuring Pedro Alonso, who played Berlin on the smash criminal drama.

Alonso will reprise his role as jewel thief Andrés de Fonollosa in Berlin: A New Series, which will premiere in 2023.

“I’m extremely delighted about it,” the actor said of the news. I am so glad for the opportunity to interact with individuals from all around the world and receive so much love and have such a fantastic experience.

“We began this series by taking a risk and have been winning ever since.” You, the fans, are our collaborators, and we appreciate that.”

“We do have many options for some spinoffs, yeah,” Pina previously told Oprah magazine, “and I think that’s because to the strong and powerful personalities of the characters.”

The cast of Money Heist is saying their final goodbyes on social media.

Season 5 of Money Heist is the final season, and the cast has already started saying their goodbyes on social media. On Instagram, Berlin’s actor, Pedro Alonso, paid respect to his role. The following is a rough translation of his post:

“I drew the sketch a long time before we shot the sequence. It was forwarded to my co-captain. ‘It’s a little creepy,’ she said, adding, ‘but I enjoy animals.’

“It’s interesting, because when I was shooting my sequence shots, my little brother said, ‘oh yes, now I see something disturbing in your eyes.’

“It’s amusing.” It was all about love for me. Perhaps there’s also an odd message for when it’s time to examine the wound in the future. Almost for the sake of the character, but also for the sake of the performer. I understand if this sounds weird.

“That moment will arrive sooner or later.” It always shows up. When it comes to the end of what we don’t know, this is the one. Alternatively, we don’t want to know.

“And it isn’t bad in my opinion.” It does, however, leave an impact. True love, like life itself, has its ups and downs. It’s a little eerie at times, but it’s also rather lovely.

“@alvaromorte, it’s been an incredible adventure.” After the odyssey, one of those that truly ought to be treasured in a treasure chest.”
